This comes in a nice outer product box. It’s made in the USA. Ingredients are listed on product box. It’s free of fragrance, gluten, parabens, PEGs, phthalates, and sulfates (SLS/SLES). It’s cruelty free and vegan.
This comes in nice, simple squeeze tube. You get 8.0 g / 0.28 oz of product. It’s easy to squeeze some of the gloss out. The applicator part of the tube is angled nicely so it fits easily on the lips.
I got the shade “Sexy Nude.” In the tube it looks like a peach color and when squeezed out it looks like it’s a sheer peach, but on the lips I don’t notice any color at all. It just adds a nice gloss to my lips. It works well over top any shade of lipstick without changing the shade of the lipstick at all.
The gloss is a thicker gloss. It gives a nice coating to the lips that feels nice and moisturizing. It is slightly sticky, but thankfully not so much where it’s annoying (like your lips are sticking together and you see lines of gloss sticking together when your lips meet and part - there’s none of that!). Being a thicker gloss, it lasts well on the lips for a gloss.
Overall, I think this is a really nice gloss. But, I don’t see how it’s worth $23 for a tube. But for me, there’s just something’s I don’t feel like it’s necessary to pay more than drugstore prices for, and lip products are one of those things, especially glosses. There’s just way too many more affordable options that work just as well. I can get one of those with just as much product or more for half the price or even less than this costs. So for me, it’s not something I’ll purchase when I run out of this. If it being free of fragrance, gluten, parabens, PEGs, phthalates, and sulfates (SLS/SLES) is important to you, then maybe it’s worth it to pay $23. But, you can get a gloss free of those things for less. You can also get one free of those things and that’s also cruelty free and vegan like this one. So, I just don’t think it’s worth $23. It’s nothing special or unique to account for the price in my opinion. But, we each have our own ideas of what’s expensive/affordable and what’s worth it/not. So, I don’t ever really factor price into my rating. So, I give this 5 stars. It’s nice, it’s moisturizing, it’s not too sticky where it’s uncomfortable/annoying, it lasts well for a gloss, and the color is sheer enough that I can wear it on top of any lipstick without it changing the shade of the lipstick. So I’d recommend it if that’s something you’re looking for. But, I do feel there’s much cheaper options that give those same things.
